About us
The Curiosity Hub is a remedial program designed to assist learners to better understand the English language and how to successfully master reading, spelling, writing and understanding of the various syllable types and rules.
We centre our approach for all students and are able to assist with foundational English, mathematics and neurodiverse challenges.
We also offer Tutoring along with online curriculums for students who may not like or fit into the mainstream schools. We assist families who want or need something unique and different.

EDUCATION COACHING
Students will learn the rules of how words work – answers the what and why questions! Orton-Gilllingham is an approach and we provide the program. Teaching awareness for Phoneme segmentation, phoneme deletion, phoneme matching, phoneme counting, substitution and blending. Our program works according to the students pace, understanding and mastering
REMEDIAL INTERVENTION
Evidence-based scientific research has shown that using the O-G approach with individuals with language challenges will restructure their brains to help learn to read and spell. It will encourage students to encode ( spell) words and break down words to their syllables and phonemes to determine the matching graphemes to be able to spell.
COMBINED COLLABORATION
At the Curiosity Hub we work with each child independently but also aim to work with the Parents, school, and any other specialists needed to guide and help the student flourish.

Our goals
